C&A Parts With Cult Brand: These Products Will Soon Be Disappearing From the Fashion Giant

C&A has parted ways with a long-term partner. The range is to disappear from the branches in the coming months. We’ve summarized for you what customers need to know now about the departure of the Mustang.

The partnership between fashion chain C&A and denim label Mustang is coming to an end after nearly four years. Like the “textile economy” Reported, Isolation comes from the fashion chain C&A. The partnership is expected to end fully on February 1, 2023. Beginning on August 1, 2022, Mustang products will gradually disappear from C&A’s branches. Initially it will be at around 303 locations.

Mustang CEO Andreas Bauer regretted C&A’s decision, but wished the fashion chain the best of luck for the future. In fact, the move should pay off in Mustang’s own plans, too. The company is planning a restructuring with new brand communications this year. It should be applied for this year’s autumn or winter season.

C&A also considers the partnership of the last four years a success. Still, one has to reinvent himself now. The fashion chain again wants to focus more on its own brands and thus pick up the customers. It is therefore conceivable that the space could be used to further expand C&A’s jeans range and advertise it more prominently at locations.

In the jeans sector, the fashion chain has long offered its own brand “Jinglers”. These are available in various fits and colors and should be able to be combined for different occasions. Here C&A can continue to work on the range to attract a younger target group – which should be addressed with the Mustang – with new products.
