Investing.com – Canadian stocks were lower after the close on Friday, and, with prices falling.

It fell 0.39% during trading in Toronto.

The best performance of the session was BlackBerry Limited (TSX :), which rose 8.10% or 1.31 points to close at 17.48. Ballard Power System Inc (TSX 🙂 meanwhile ended 3.46% or 1.52 points at 46.49. Gfl Environment Inc (TSX 🙂 rose 2.86% or 1.10 points to close at 39.55 points during trading.

Worst performance of the season Sindoor Energy Inc (TSX :), which fell 5.58% or 0.40 points to close at 6.77. Cenovus Energy Inc (TSX 🙂 fell 4.77% or 0.37 points to end at 7.39. Crescent Point Energy Corp (TSX 🙂 fell 4.76% or 0.19 points to 3.80.

The falling stock closed at 410 and 110 from 593 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Shares of BlackBerry Limited (TSX 🙂 reached a 3-year high; Rising 8.10% or 1.31 to 17.48. Ballard Power Systems Inc (TSX 🙂 stocks climbed higher; 3.38% or 1.52 to 46.49.

The one that measures the implied volatility of the S&P / TSX options was unchanged at 0% at 11.27.

Gold futures for February delivery declined 0.52%, or $ 9.65, to $ 1,856.25 per troy ounce. In commodities trading, crude oil for delivery in March fell 1.92%, or $ 1.02, to $ 52.11 a barrel, while the March Brent oil contract was down 1.64%, or $ 0.92, to trade at $ 55. 18 per barrel.
