Düsseldorf Providers of mobile homes, caravans and camping equipment have never appeared so well equipped before the start of a trade fair. When the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf opens its doors to 200,000 expected exhibition guests this Friday, the world’s largest camping fair will attract no less than 735 exhibitors – 146 more than last year.
The wait times are so long that some campers are already switching to simpler and more compact vans. Camper vans ordered as a replacement have the advantage that, unlike grand motorhomes, they largely do without individually customized components.
