Cameron Diaz is fascinated by movies like Mary, The Damaged Girlfriend and Super Cute and Super Sexy. She is celebrating her 50th birthday on Tuesday. Her best friend, Drew Barrymore (47), greets her in BILD am SONNTAG.

“Cameron is my soulmate, she’s my mirror, my better self. I’ve never felt a connection with a man like that before. Having this woman in my life is a gift,” the Hollywood star bams about his girlfriend says.
Diaz also made him a better person. “I no longer use plastic bags for Cameroon. And when I brush my teeth, I don’t even leave water.”
They met each other in the 80s. “I was 14 and worked in a coffee shop, she was 16 and she started modeling. She moved into the shop and we became friends.” They later did Charlie’s Angels movies together. But in private the job stays out. “We are mothers and we have the same problem. These are full-length themes,” laughs Barrymore.

Laughter is something the two love to do together – and travel. “We’ve been to Hawaii, the Hamptons, South America, and the Caribbean together. We even sleep in the same bed.”
There is no limit to the friendship between the two. They are always there for each other. “Cameron has the keys to my house, she waters my flowers when I have to go. She’s my babysitter and lifesaver. Cam was there when I was down, holding my hand in my worst moments We partyed together in our best moments.”

That’s what they want for Diaz’s 50th. BILD am SONNTAG knows that Barrymore and several other friends have been invited to Italy for his birthday. The big party is to be celebrated at the Reschio Estate in Umbria.
Are they also talking about Cameron’s return and a third Charlie’s Angels movie? “It would probably be like ‘Charlie’s Grandmas.’ But why not?
