Dynamic OC Switcher: Asus Brings OC Feature to All ROG Boards with Socket AM5

Dynamic OC Switcher: Asus bringt OC-Feature für alle ROG-Platinen mit Sockel AM5

Asus will introduce a “Dynamic OC Switcher” overclocking feature integrated into the BIOS on all AM5 motherboards for the Ryzen 7000 of the ROG series. The producer explained it on Gamescom. For the AM4, the function is only available with the top models ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero and ROG Crosshair VIII Extreme X570 chipsets.

Maximum single and multi-core clock at the same time

Dynamic OC Switcher allows users to optimize the CPU for both maximum single-core and maximum multi-core turbo clock (AMD PBO). As a rule, the two are mutually exclusive as the maximum single-core turbo is not used on all cores at full load and the maximum multi-core turbo is very low.

Asus’ Dynamic OC Switcher promises to dynamically switch between user-specified overclocking speeds for single- and multi-core loads using parameters such as the current CPU supply voltage (which provides an indication of the type of load), But CPU temperature can also be monitored in real time.

For Asus ROG X670E, X670 and B650 . with

The function should not be limited to ROG boards with X670 or X670E chipsets, but should also be available on ROG boards with B650 chipsets.
