In one of my posts I asked myself why there is no HomeKit Widgets,
Amazing app called Home Widget!
With the introduction of iOS14, Apple gave users the option to create so-called widgets. These are practical panels in three different sizes. This makes it easy for you to control the app. For example, you can see at a glance what dates you’ve entered in your calendar.
Very practical indeed. However, Apple is of the opinion that HomeKit controls cannot be used as widgets. For whatever reason. I already have you guys the option Shown how you can control your HomeKit in Control Center.
But now there is a new app called Home Widget. With it you can add a plethora of HomeKit devices as widgets and quickly call them up from the main screen without having to open the Home app.
The app offers another advantage, as with the app you can mix various controls with each other.
Unfortunately, the app has a catch. Without the Pro version you are unfortunately very limited with the app. You have the opportunity to try out the app for 49 cents a month. With an annual subscription you can save some money or you can get the Forever app for €8.99! If you are very interested in the app, please feel free to comment and I will write a detailed report about it!
