Because on the basis of existing map data, Google Maps calculates the route on which the risk of accidents is less. Last but not least, Google Maps needs to be even more personal. Depending on the time of day and your own position, the map decides which locations to show nearby. For example, at 8 am, bakery and cafes are more likely to show up. In the evening, the display changes to the restaurant.
