German national ice hockey player and World Cup candidate Tim Stutzl has been accused of acting. After his Ottawa Senators scored 6–3 against the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL, Brendan Gallagher accused the 20-year-old of foul play.

“More than half the games we’ve played against him, he’s put himself on the ice and the next change he’s back on the ice. He lies down on the ice, pretends to be injured, whistles and uses the same power.” Play gets back on the ice,” said Gallagher, 29, who won World Cup gold with Canada in 2016: “It’s a shame.”

Stutzl scored a 2-1 goal in Gallagher’s game against the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday evening. It was the 15th goal of the season for Werson’s man, who has clearly surpassed his eleven goals from the first year in his second season in the world’s best ice hockey league.

“Kids look up to us. We are role models. And if I were his teammate, I would tell him to do better,” said Gallagher, who has been with the Canadiens since 2011. Stutzl is a very good and talented player, but he has to stop acting.
