The attack occurred late Saturday (local time) in Old Quebec near the National Assembly and a luxury hotel. Police called on residents not to leave their homes. The suspect was eventually found near the port. According to information from the newspaper “Le Soleil”, he wore fully black clothes and also wore a black mask. Investigators did not provide any details about the victims. “Our thoughts are with the families of those who died,” Doyon said.
