“The Masked Singer”: Season 5 in Autumn 2021 on Saturday on ProSieben

“The MaskedSinger community has long wanted ‘The Masked Singer’ to run on Saturdays. We want to fulfill this wish of our loyal fans one more time with the fifth season”, says ProSieben boss Daniel Roseman.

Six shows will be produced live in Cologne in the autumn of 2021, with ten celebrities leaving their masks again. The exact start date for the 5th season of “The Masked Singer” has yet to be determined.

It is also currently questionable who will be on the jury. The jury members are happily switching. Last season, Lena Gercke created a sensation with an open-hearted outfit. The show will continue to be moderated by Mathias Opdenhovel.

“The Masked Singer” recently started running on Saturdays

Rosman continues: “Six Saturdays in autumn are the best entertainment, with crazy presentations and big surprises at the revelations – in front of the audience again in the best case. It’s going to be a party. And the puzzles get tough. Too hard.”

Singer Sasha (here with presenter Mathias Opdenhovel) won the fourth season of “The Masked Singer” as Dino.

Last season, Max Mutzke as an astronaut, Tom Beck as a sloth, Sarah Lombardi as a skeleton and Sasha as a dinosaur could sing to victory.

“The Masked Dancer” will be available in Germany soon. It is not yet clear where the show is being bought from. Production company Endemol Shine Germany – which also makes “The Masked Singer” – has already acquired the rights. (sku)
