– During a media call last week, Tony Khan talked about the possible introduction of the Six-Man Tag Team Championship. The president of AEW envisaged that a title like this would be introduced upon the return of Kenny Omega:
“I think there’s a lot of interest. We’ve got a lot of great trios, I’m very interested in […] I think it will happen. When Kenny Omega comes back I think the Trios division will be much stronger. We may have a great tournament right now and a great trio division, but I think he will make it stronger. […] Considering how strong our roster is and how many trios are already in place and experience working together, we may have the best trio division ever. I would love to have Kenny Omega to be a part of it.”
— According to information from Fightful, the AEW Women’s Championship match between Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa at the AEW Revolution PPV was changed several times in the weeks leading up to the show. The reasons are not known, but they are now working towards another rematch between the two women.
– Two matches have been confirmed for today’s edition of AEW Dynamite. Sammy Guevara will play her TNT Championship against Scorpio Sky while Thunder Rosa and Leyla Hirsch will compete for the AEW Women’s World Title #1 event. Additionally, Chris Jericho will comment on his loss to Eddie Kingston at the AEW Revolution PPV. Below are the current line-up and two preview videos:
