TP Vision brings the Apple TV app to Philips televisions

Amsterdam-based TV maker TP Vision has announced that the Apple TV app is immediately available on Philips TVs. As announced by TP Vision, Philips device owners can access Apple TV services directly from the start page. Offers include the streaming service, Apple TV+, which includes programs, movies, and documentaries. Subscribers will then have access to Apple productions such as “Ted Lasso”, “For All Mankind” or “Greyhound”.

The Apple TV app also offers its own channels, which include Starzplay, Acron TV, and Noggin. These are available online and offline free of advertising, provided a subscription is available.

Starting 2021, Philips TV buyers will receive the Apple TV app pre-installed on their Smart TV start screen. For older models, the app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
