Two election slippers for American Democrats: Trump is now sitting on Biden's neck

No wonder Joe Biden (79) keeps talking about Donald Trump (75) …

Just a year after the incumbent US President won against Donald Trump in the battle for the White House, the first historic US election took place. It was about governance in the states of Virginia and New Jersey.

And there was also the question: Can Trump make a political comeback and become the world’s most powerful man again in 2024?

First answer: Yes, he can. (German: Yes, he can.)

Warning Shot No. 1: In Virginia, Democrat Terry McAuliffe (64) went down in the vote against conservative newcomer Glenn Youngkin (54). Joe Biden won with a runaway win (plus ten percent) here on November 3, 2020!

Caveat Shot No. 2: In New Jersey, where the Democrats had won every presidential race since 1992 by a large margin, the duel between liberal Phil Murphy (64) and Republican challenger Jack Ciatarelli (59) was so close That it was only a few hours before the name of a winner could be decided. Murphy won with 50.2 to 49.23 percent!

The Democrats’ victory had long been considered a bargain. Thin trembling clear sign of victory: American voters dissatisfied with liberals!

And there was another warning shot for Biden & Co.: In local elections in the US state of New York, Democrats suffered painful defeats in several town halls.

The American media shouldn’t please Joe Biden at all. “The Democrats’ Weakness Has Been Exposed”, judged the liberal “New York Times”. The conservative New York Post said, “Democrats froze. Being anti-Trump alone isn’t enough.”

In fact, Joe Biden mentioned Trump’s name 24 times in a speech during a campaign appearance for McAuliffe. But Virginia voters were not impressed. The fear of Trump seems to be a thing of the past. Meanwhile, fear of tax hikes and inflation is ubiquitous.

The two gubernatorial elections are like a cold bucket of water in the face of the man who is repeatedly maligned by Donald Trump as “Sleepy Joe.”

Because it is now becoming clear that his Democrats will lose a majority in the Senate and House of Representatives in the autumn 2022 congressional elections. Then Biden – who already has problems moving through his budget and investment programs – will be a “lame duck” in the end. A president who practically can’t shake anything anymore.

AND: A poll by national TV broadcaster “NBC” this week revealed: Only 42 percent of Americans think Biden is doing a good job as president. In April it was said to be 53 percent.

In addition, seven out of ten US citizens think the country took the wrong path under the 46th president. And about half of Democrats will run for president in 2024 with a candidate other than Joe Biden.

Accordingly, Trump is in a good mood. He did not hesitate and took the last election night as a personal success. “I want to thank my base for voting so powerfully for Glenn Youngkin. Without you he wouldn’t have come any closer to victory,” he declared in a statement.

Trump officially endorsed Youngkin. And although he never appeared with him in public, he never distinguished himself from the eloquent former president.

New Jersey’s Republican nominee Jack Ciartelli is also a Trump man. After his defeat last year, he took part in a “Stop the Steel” event, in which Trump claimed he was the true winner of the 2020 election and that only Biden won by fraud in a postal vote.

Makes it clear: Donald Trump is still a force to be reckoned with for Republicans.

If many of “his” candidates win the “midterm election,” which is about a majority in the US Congress, then this statement, which he made last September, should be confirmed: “Only a negative doctoral decision.” Could stop me running in 2024.”

Then he added: “But I feel great…”
