Vodafone campaign: Free paid TV for cable subscribers

Cable network operator Vodafone is looking to activate three pay-TV channels for its customers free of cost for several weeks. Promotion period starts at the end of next week.

Vodafone’s TV offer allows customers to watch pay TV for up to seven weeks at no extra cost like a cable network operator. announces on its page, Vodafone wants to activate the encrypted channels “ProSieben Fun”, “Sat.1 Emotion” and “Caballe Ains Classics” for its customers from May 1 to June 20.

Vodafone writes, “All Vodafone customers who use GigaTV, Horizon Box or Smart Card for television reception have access to the channels.” Those who use GigaTV also have access to the respective broadcaster’s media libraries. During the promotional period, the titles listed there must be available for 30 days instead of the regular availability of seven days.
