2K Games celebrates 15th anniversary of BioShock

After BioShock Infinite ended, series producer Ken Levine formed a new studio, which was dropped from the series. Thankfully it wasn’t the end of the franchise as 2K and Take-Two confirmed that it will be ongoing and that development has been going on for a long time.

Already at the beginning of 2020, the publisher said that the next BioShock “will be in development for the next few years”, And since it’s been two and a half years since then, it might be time to watch the next installment very soon. As BioShock celebrated its 15th anniversary yesterday, the official 2K account on Twitter has been posting things to celebrate the classic game, leading some to think they’re hinting at something.

Among other things, he wrote: “Would you please join us to celebrate the 15th anniversary of BioShock,” he added add that “Andrew Ryan announced plans to build Rapture 77 years ago today, August 21, 1945”.

What do you think, is this just a celebration of joy, or are we getting into something BioShock related at the end of WWII with a possible announcement at Gamescom this week?
