As an extension of the social sharing option of the Spotify app, a new mini player enables content to be streamed via the Facebook app – whether the user is a subscriber or uses the free version.

The collaboration has been tested in Mexico and Thailand. A rollout is planned for the coming week, but initially only Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia , For Mexico, New Zealand, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, South Africa, Thailand, USA and Uruguay.

According to Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg, audio is a growing field that is also becoming important for social networks and which extends the useful life.
