Investing.com – Canadian stocks were lower after the close on Monday, and underperformed.

It was down 0.04% during trading in Toronto.

Present season’s best performance Imperial Oil Ltd. (TSX :), which rose 3.65% or 1.13 points to close at 32.06. Chorus Entertainment Inc. (TSX 🙂 Meanwhile added 3.35% or 0.21 points to end at 6.47. Stentech Inc (TSX 🙂 rose 3.08% or 1.71 points to close at 57.16 points during trading.

Worst performance of the season Aphria Inc (TSX :), which fell 12.67% or 2.580 points to close at 17.780 in late trade. Village Farm International Inc. (TSX 🙂 was down 8.99% or 1.44 points to close at 14.58. Aurora Cannabis Inc (TSX 🙂 was down 8.61% or 0.960 points to 10.190.

The falling stock was unchanged at 618 to 468 and 75 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Shares of Chorus Entertainment Inc. (TSX 🙂 reached a 52-week high; 3.35% or 0.21 to 6.47. Stantec Inc (TSX 🙂 shares hit all-time highs; Rising 3.08% or 1.71 to 57.16.

The one that measures the implied volatility of the S & P / TSX options was unchanged at 0% at 11.27.

Gold futures for June delivery fell 0.78%, or $ 13.65, to $ 1,731.15 per troy. Elsewhere in commodities trading, crude oil for May delivery rose 0.59%, or $ 0.35, to $ 59.67 a barrel, while the June Brent oil contract rose 0.48%, or $ 0.30, to $ 63.25 a barrel.

CAD / USD fell 0.28% to 0.7961, while CAD / EUR fell 0.28% to 0.6687.
