Smektała confirms that the new Game Plus mode will be submitted later

Tyman Smectala is the lead designer of Dying Light 2: Stay Human. He has now confirmed on Twitter that the post-apocalyptic open-world role-playing game will have a new Game Plus mode.

Dying Light 2: Stay Human is available now for consoles and PC on February 4. In the meantime, I’m sure some of you have already played through Open World RPG. If you want to start another race to make a different decision, unfortunately you have to start all over again.

exact time unknown

In the near future, however, this will change: over Twitter Tyman Smectala confirmed that fans’ requests have been heard and that a new Game Plus mode will follow “quite soon”. However, the lead designer cannot give a rough date yet.

The basic idea was to be able to experience alternative options in the cooperative. Therefore, the development team decided to abandon such a mode for the time being.

For those of you who don’t know, the new Game Plus mode lets you relive the story with all your character progression and collectible items. So this option is only available if the main game has been completed successfully. Especially in an adventure where you have to face the consequences of your decisions, a second run certainly has its appeal.

Further improvements and innovations are also planned. Fans can use Twitter to suggest useful features that Techland could respond to. The Polish video game company has insisted in the past that they constantly monitor player feedback. For example, Smectla asks what other accessibility options can be added.
