Los Angeles – British actress Naomi AK (28), who starred in “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker”, has been selected for the biopic “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” about music legend Whitney Houston (1963–172) .
In a message, director Stella Meghy (“The Photograph”) made a tedious search after you, quoting the American trade papers “Variety” and “Hollywood Reporter”. All along AK Rekha were convinced. The Canadian filmmaker said, “I loved the presence of a world icon onstage and his ability to capture the human side of his inner life.”
The biography is co-produced by Houston’s estate administration and music producer Clive Davis, who once discovered the singer. Houston’s recordings are to be used in the film. The screenplay was written by author Anthony McCutchen (“Bohemian Rapsody”). The film is titled Hit “I Wanna Dance With Sambadi”.
Houston was one of the biggest stars of the 80s. His albums sold millions of times. The six-time Grammy Award winner also celebrated success as an actress. On behalf of Kevin Costner, he starred in the love film “Bodyguard” in 1992, for which he also gave hit films like “I Will Always Love You”. The musician was found dead in February 2012 at the age of 48 in a hotel room in Beverly Hills.
