Black Panther actor Chadwick Boseman dies at 43 after 4-year fight with colon cancer

Actor Chadwick Boseman, who played Black icons Jackie Robinson and James Brown in advance of finding fame as the regal Black Panther in the Marvel cinematic universe, died Friday of cancer, his consultant said. He was 43.

Boseman died at his house in the Los Angeles region with his wife and family by his side, his publicist Nicki Fioravante explained to The Associated Press.

“We knew that we could make a world that exemplified a world we required to see. We realized that we had one thing to give.”
