Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood disembarked from their plane at 5:25 p.m. BER on Monday. On Wednesday the rockers will give their “Sixty” anniversary concert at the Waldbuhn.
The aircraft was parked in front of Terminal 2. The engines had barely stopped when a convoy of dark vans and limousines arrived.
Of course, the three musicians don’t travel alone in the Boeing (there’s still room for 375 passengers in the regular configuration), but they are accompanied by their family and team members. Guitarist Ron Wood (75) is traveling with his wife Sally (44) and twins Gracie Zayn and Alice Rose (6).
From BER we went straight to Pariser Platz – stayed at the Stones “Adlon”. Passersby did not notice the arrival of world-famous rockers – the musicians were driven to the underground car park.
The Presidential Suite (185 square meters) awaited Mick Jagger (79). He appeared at the window for a while. After a while Wood came out with his family through the back door of the hotel. Destination: Italian “Viale dei Tigli” on the other side of Behrenstrae.
The Wood family clearly brought a lot of hunger with them. On the bill: including mozzarella alla capris (12.50 euros), several pizzas, spaghettini del personal (12.50 euros), dessert – a total of 170 euros. Wood generously rounded up to 200 euros!
The waiters did not recognize the famous Stones musician – which did not bother them. Ron Wood left in a good mood with the words: “Thanks, I’ll bring Mick tomorrow!,
